Five Gallons or Thousands. We Have the Flexibility to Blend Both.
A large lubricant manufacturer may have the capacity to produce thousands of gallons.
That doesn't mean they're interested in blending five.
Comet Supply combines industrial-scale manufacturing capabilities with the flexibility to solve specialized problems for customers of nearly any size.
Our Washington, Illinois, facility includes five heated blending kettles, including two stainless-steel kettles, and has the capacity to blend up to 20,000 gallons per day.
But we don't impose a minimum order quantity on custom blends.
If a small machine shop needs five gallons of a specialized lubricant for one critical piece of equipment, we'll work with them.
If an OEM needs thousands of gallons, we can blend that, too.
Our quality assurance procedures include blend-sheet records, retained samples, and product reviews. Certificates of analysis are also available upon request.

When Time Is Money, Lead Time Matters.
A machine waiting on oil isn't making money.
That's why Comet works to understand how our customers use their products and maintain inventory around their recurring needs.
If you typically order two drums a month, we'll work to keep those two drums available. When you place the order, we replenish our stock and prepare for the next one.
For stocked products, our typical lead time is one business day. Same-day service may also be available when circumstances require it.
And when a customer calls late on a Friday because a machine is down, we don't look at the clock and tell them to try again Monday.
We do what we can to keep them moving.
Inventory programs may include consignment, stock-level management, and individualized solutions based on your operation.

Industrial fluids can tell you a great deal about what's happening inside your equipment. Unexpected materials in an oil sample may indicate contamination. Changes in fluid condition can help inform maintenance decisions. Coolant problems may point to concentration, bacteria, fungus, or another issue within the system.
